At Belukar, we believe that our business gives us responsibilities, not only to our guests but also to the island itself. Belukar plays a financial and practical part in all Gili Trawangan’s diverse initiatives: anti-environmental pollution, particularly in the war against plastic litter; waste collection and disposal; reef restoration and the logistic burden imposed on horse drawn transport – many of these initiatives are led by the Gili Eco Trust – www.giliecotrust.com. So, your stay at Belukar, as well as providing a wonderful holiday break in our luxury villas and rooms, allows us to help protect a very small but we think important part of the planet.
